What You're Feeling
IS Real

Turning Menopause from a Career Disrupter into a Leadership Accelerator

Menopause isn't just personal. It's a leadership conversation.

And it’s time we stop whispering.

You’ve earned your place in leadership through vision, resilience, and hard work. Yet when your body begins to navigate a transition that most people don’t talk about—and few doctors are trained to support—it can feel isolating.

Sleepless nights. Energy shifts. Mental fog—or a Hot Flash during a high-stakes meeting. For women in leadership, these moments appear right at the height of our careers, when we’re carrying immense responsibility, possibility, and influence.

It also happens to be a time in life when women leaders are still raising children and even caring for aging parents or family members.

But here’s the truth: menopause doesn’t have to hold you back. This stage of life can offer an opportunity to refine how–and why–you lead, aligning experience with wellbeing in a powerful way.

Why Leadership Can't Afford the Silence

Perimenopause through post-menopause is a natural biological transition and over 51% of the population will experience this change—yet most companies and leadership programs ignore it completely.

This silence costs us.

Did you know:

  • 1 in 5 women consider leaving their jobs due to menopause symptoms.

  • 1 in 10 have missed work in the past year because of their symptoms.

  • The U.S. economy loses an estimated $1.8 billion annually in work loss due to menopause-related challenges.

At the same time, these are the years when women are stepping into senior roles, boardrooms, and entrepreneurship. This isn’t just a personal wellness issue—it’s a leadership and business issue.

Forward-thinking leaders and organizations are ready to change.
